This policy explains how personal data is handled on this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679) and Italian data protection law.

2. What data is processed, why, and for how long

• Contact form. Name, email address, subject and the message you write. Used only to reply to your request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are received through [form service, e.g. Formspree], which acts on our behalf, and delivered to our email inbox. Retention: for the time needed to handle your request and then no longer than [12] months, unless a working relationship follows.
• Emails you send us directly. Same purpose, legal basis and retention as above.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider, [hosting provider], may automatically record technical data (IP address, browser, date and time, pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Fonts. Fonts are served from this site's own server, so no data is sent to font providers. [Keep this line only after self-hosting the fonts. If you still load Google Fonts, replace it with a disclosure that your IP address is shared with Google.]

3. Third-party content: YouTube

Some pages may include YouTube videos. They are blocked until you choose to load them, either through the cookie settings or with the "Load this video" button. Once loaded, the video is served by Google from the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com. Google may set cookies and process your IP address and viewing data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable rules on cookies and similar technologies). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

• Necessary: the site stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (item mg_cookie_consent) for up to [6] months. It is strictly necessary and does not track you.
• Optional: cookies set by YouTube, only if you accept them.
• This site uses no analytics, no advertising and no profiling tools.

5. Who receives your data

Our hosting provider, our form service provider, our email provider and, only if you load YouTube videos, Google. We do not sell your data.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers (for example Google) may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on the safeguards those providers apply, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to contact@mattiagenovasi.art. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

2. Quali dati vengono trattati, perché e per quanto tempo

• Modulo di contatto. Nome, indirizzo email, oggetto e messaggio che scrivi. Usati solo per rispondere alla tua richiesta. Base giuridica: misure precontrattuali adottate su tua richiesta e legittimo interesse a rispondere alle richieste (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b) e f) GDPR). I messaggi sono ricevuti tramite Porkbun.com, che agisce per nostro conto, e recapitati nella nostra casella email. Conservazione: per il tempo necessario a gestire la richiesta e poi per non oltre 12 mesi, salvo che nasca un rapporto di lavoro.
• Email inviate direttamente. Stessa finalità, base giuridica e conservazione indicate sopra.
• Log tecnici. Il nostro fornitore di hosting, github.com, può registrare automaticamente dati tecnici (indirizzo IP, browser, data e ora, pagine richieste) per la sicurezza e il funzionamento del sito. Base giuridica: legittimo interesse (art. 6, par. 1, lett. f) GDPR).
• Font. I font sono serviti dal server di fonts.google.com, quindi il tuo indirizzo IP viene comunicato a Google.

3. Contenuti di terze parti: YouTube

Alcune pagine possono includere video di YouTube. Sono bloccati finché non scegli di caricarli, dalle impostazioni cookie o con il pulsante "Carica questo video". Una volta caricato, il video è fornito da Google tramite il dominio a privacy avanzata youtube-nocookie.com. Google può impostare cookie ed elaborare il tuo indirizzo IP e i dati di visione secondo la propria informativa, che non controlliamo. Base giuridica: il tuo consenso (art. 6, par. 1, lett. a) GDPR e la normativa applicabile su cookie e tecnologie analoghe). Puoi revocare il consenso in qualsiasi momento.

4. Cookie e tecnologie simili

• Necessari: il sito salva la tua scelta sui cookie nella memoria locale del browser (voce mg_cookie_consent) per un massimo di [6] mesi. È strettamente necessario e non ti traccia.
• Facoltativi: cookie impostati da YouTube, solo se li accetti.

Alcuni di questi fornitori (ad esempio Google) possono trattare dati fuori dallo SEE, anche negli Stati Uniti. In questi casi i trasferimenti si basano sulle garanzie che i fornitori applicano, come decisioni di adeguatezza o clausole contrattuali standard.

7. I tuoi diritti

Puoi chiederci di accedere ai tuoi dati, correggerli o cancellarli, limitarne o opporti al trattamento e riceverli in formato portabile (artt. 15–22 GDPR). Quando il trattamento si basa sul consenso, puoi revocarlo in qualsiasi momento senza pregiudicare i trattamenti precedenti. Scrivi a contact@mattiagenovasi.art. Hai inoltre il diritto di proporre reclamo a un'autorità di controllo; in Italia è il Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
